Puppytime at our ranch >

As a breeder, it is really important to me that my bitches can handle and take care of the puppies right from the start. It provides me an important information for the future. I believe that there is no point of breeding puppies out of a champion, if she has not the healthy, life full way of taking care of her litter.  My opinion is that as a breeder, we should also try to breed capable and strong mothers, not only sound and nice looking bitches.  After all, bitch has a strong influence how her puppies are going to be, see and take life as it comes.

If one were only to breed for conformation, then the job would be a piece of cake. More important than breeding beautiful dogs, perhaps, is to be able to breed good, happy and healthy dogs, who can live a long, quality life. Also I think that dogs used in breeding should not only be good natured, but also out of any allergies, odd inflammations ect. I am feeding my bred bitches quality food along with different raw food like pork, cow and salmon. Also puppies are getting different kind of food right from the beginning so that they would be familiar to every kind of substance. Because I believe that a good bitch can and should teach several important things to her puppies before moving in to a new home, all the puppies are ready to their new homes at age of 8 to 9 weeks.

S-LITTER WINTER 2011

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Long time planed litter for our Shanti, Lifedream Endless Narnia is going to take place at winter 2011. Shanti has cea-clear eyes, A hips and 0/0 elbows. She is mentaltested with 140 points. We are waiting her season to begin at September. Shanti is from litter of five, with four of them health checked healthy. Four of them have also passed unofficial herding test. Shanti's sire is Ramses, (Fatikon Nappanahka cea-free, A/A, 0/0 mt +170) and mother is Rölli (L. Lady Fortuna cea-free, A/B, 0/0 mt +110).

Shanti is very versatile dog. Her owner Joanna is training her for agility, obedience, herding and tracking. She is rewarded with EX and CQ in dogshows. Shanti is open, friendly bitch with willingness to work. She is creedy so she can be rewarded with toy and food. Shanti´s pedigree is familiar to me with both sides. At home I have her sire Ramses and her grandmother Mette (Dalimattas Action Mette) who I am training for agility. Also this summer 10 year old "granddad" Bilbo (Bilbo V. Shakas ROyal Kraal) is Shanti´s grandgrandfather from her fathers side. Shanti's mother Rölli has stayed with us several times during the years and I can say I know her too very well. Rölli's sister Rosie (L. Lady Freyja) is living also at home. I am very happy that all of Shanti´s siblings are living in homes who keep in touch and are very active. They are cabable workingdogs as well as familydogs.

Sire of future litter is Lauri, LTW-11 Timonan Uncle Unisonin (Cea-free A/A, 0/0), because of his looks and easygoing character. Lauri has been rewarded in dogshows with  9x CC, 5X CACIB's, 3 x BOB, 3 x BOS. Lauri has one very promising litter at kennel Timonan (link). Lauris parents are Toffo (Fin Mva Jack Macks Kannfadhna CRD A/A 0/0 mt +175) import from Germany and dam is Lahja (C.I.B Pohj Mva, Fin Mva, Se mva, Dk Mva, No Mva, Timonan Neat Nefertiti (Cea-v, A/A, 0/0 mt. +127p).

I am looking forward seeing what Shanti will produce in this litter. It has been some time from my previous litter, so having puppies in the house is defently worth of waiting!  info@lifedream.eu

Y- LITTER FOR 2012:

GENERAL INFORMATION:

It is my intention to mate Lyyli (Timonan Yavanna Yavien) With Ramses (Fatikon Nappanahka: cea-free, hips A/A, elbows 0/0 MT. +170, mm. 2 x CC) next year. Lyyli hasn't been health examined yet, so I am in no hurry with this plan. Both of the dogs are happy, friendly and open dogs who are training for shows and agility.

Lyyli, Timonan Yavanna Yavien, is a daughter of  my Hugo (L. Missionary Man cea-v. A/A, 0/0). She is greedy, very! playful and open girl. I am training agility with her and aiming to begin competing next spring. We have also been herding and she begin to work nicely. We began official dog shows this summer and Lyyli has done well with EX and CQ. Lyyli has CRD.

While training Lyyli has strong willingness to please and she can be rewarded with toy and food. She is secure to loud noises and in our gang she is very easy dog to live with. She plays with Ellie, Mette, Missy and Brego, is kind and friendly to everyone. At this moment, Lyyli has been very healthy and active bitch. She has full teeth and light ears. She usually eats everything my cats drag home, so her stomach is very strong! She isn't using her voice much, but does bark on feeding time, telling me to hurry up!

Ramses, Fatikon Nappanahka, is hunting his final CC from the dog shows, is aiming for official agility competitions this fall and has been mentaltested with +170 points. He has healthy hips, eyes and elbows. He has 3 litters so far, In kennel Dandinas, Lifedream E2-litter and one litter in Sweden, kennel Eyesdelight. All puppies examined in Finland are healthy and several CC and RES CC Winners. Ramses is herding strongly and has inherited that power to his puppies as well. Otherwise he is open and very easygoing family dog with lots of willingness to work.

Ramses can be rewarded with toy and food. He loves to play with me. He has always been very easy dog, both in family and my gang. He is secure to loud voices and isn't afraid of much anything. It has always been great pleasure to go in dogs shows with him because he likes to pose and loves the intention! Ramses is very healthy dog and has good appetite.

This planed litters pedigree is very familiar to me, which is important to me. Lyyl's sire Hugo is living here at home. He is the son of my Swedish import Alda (Oneways Golden Treasure cea-v, A/A 0/0 mt +80) and Ramses is the son of my first litter's Tom (L. Lord Legolin cea-v. lonkat A/A kyynärät 0/0 MT +155). Tom is the son of my other brood bitch Wanja (Cinnaberrys Way of Life cea-vapaa, lonkat A/A MT +177 mm. +2 nerves). Natta, (Fatikon Nahkiainen cea-vapaa A/A 0/0 MT 69), mother of Ramses is in fact a daughter of Bilbo (BH Bilbo V. Shakas Royal Kraal cea-v, lonkat A/A mt+174), also living right her at home.

T-LITTER FOR THE YEAR 2012-2013:

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Ellie hasn't been health examined yet, so I am in no hurry with this plan.

I am planning to mate our Slovakian import Ellie (Mightys Spring Meadow Geyser Garden) with Brego (Jack Macks VIP Baird: cea-vapaa, lonkat A/A, kyynärät 0/0), import from Germany. Both dogs are greedy, open and friendly. Because both of the parents are imports, I am not familiar with their background first hand. I am hoping to have different kind of litter with prospect of out breeding possibilities in the future with my own lines.

Ellie is co-owned with my breeder friend from Kotka. It is more a show dog than working dog, but I am training agility with her. Ellie is very greedy, open and friendly. She loves people and thinks she is a real princess, which she is. We have been herding with her few times, both times she was interested, but nothing serious working. In our gang Ellie is very easy going, although she is very strong-minded. Lyyli and Ellie are best friends, though at the same age, and are playing with each other all the time. We began our official dog shows summer 2011 and Ellie has done well with several placement in her class and CQ. Ellie is very easy friend to take with. She loves to pose and enjoy all the intention.

While training Ellie is easier to reward with food than toy. Ellie is secure to loud voices. Ellie is going to be examined during the year 2012, but her eyes are cea-free. At the moment Ellie has been very healthy and active bitch. She has fool teeth and natural ears. She also has very strong appetite.

Brego, Jack Macks VIP Baird, is import from Germany and very strong boy in more ways than one. He is confident, kind and extremely friendly. He comes along with everyone in our gang and is very easy to live with. He isn't afraid of anything. I am aiming to mentaltest him fall 2011. He has healthy eyes, hips and elbows and has 3 young litters in Finland so far. Brego has full teeth and natural ears. I am training him for obedience and agility. We have also been in herding, which he began to do well. In dog shows he has been rewarded with EX and BM3.

While training Brego likes to play with me, but he is also greedy and loves food. He reminds me of Ramses, but is much more calmer. He is not fond of his voice and isn't afraid of loud noises.
